VIRGIN MEDIA - "TRINITY" PROJECT

UX Designer - UI Designer

Working closely with two Business Analysts, we gathered insights and requirement from the business and the users to fully understand the pain points of the current offering, which we identified as three systems spanning two or more devices and technologies.

Pulling all this into one self contained Android application seemed to be the best option as all the engineers were already issued Android devices and the API endpoints were already available to consume.

For this project I used:

  • Adobe XD

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Adobe Photoshop

UX DESIGNER

As the only UX designer on this project, I analysed data gathered by the Business Analysts and spoke directly with the engineers on the ground about the current solution that was on offer.

I designed a native Android application, streamlining workflows to drive customer satisfaction and save the engineers time and frustration.

PRODUCT DESIGNER

To understand the product as a whole, I created this application flow map to indicate navigation and dependancy on WiFi and back end systems.

This map was especially helpful when communicating to developers how the user would navigate and interact with the application.

UI DESIGNER

Once the functionality was complete, I developed a design system to drive mobile design at Virgin Media whilst moving onto the Android application User Interface design.
